how to change screen resolution/input timing

January 25, 2011 at 05:37:18
Specs: Windows 7
I accidentally changed my display setting to 1920x1200, which my monitor doesn't support. I want to be able to change my Input Timing to 1920x1080 in safe mode, or without a monitor. Is there anyone can help please?

How do you plan on making changes without a monitor?

Boot the system & tap the F8 key. When the menu comes up, select "Enable VGA Mode". This will allow you to get into Windows & correct the resolution.

That's a great suggestion. I remember my XP has that, but my Windows 7 somehow doesn't have that option, It's only

Safe Mode
Safe Mode with Networking
Safe Mode with Command Prompt

Is there anything I can do in the Safe Mode to correct it in Windows 7?

I acttually get the "Low Resolution" option with F8 in my Windows 7, but my monitor is still saying the same of "Please change your input timing to 1920/1080@60Hz". Why is that???
