Sounds like you have a DVD ISO you are trying to get on a CD. You can't fit 10 pounds of crap in a 6 pound bag. You need an ISO editor to separate the files so that you can make two ISOs but if this is an installation ISO it will not work because the installer will not know how to disk span. I think it is time you get a DVD ROM drive.

Personally I put all of My ISOs on an External Drive and use an ISO runner to run them.

If your optical drive CAN burn DVDs, get off your butt and get yourself a burnable DVD disk !
