how to add IDE to SATA?

Specs: Windows XP
*ATTENTION ALL GEEKS!!!* I just bought 250g IDE HD but my original HD is a Sata am I able to have a Sata Master HD and then link a IDE Slave Hd is this possible and if so could you breif me on how i should go about doing something about it???? Help a fellow geek out guys I need more space..

okay i have no problems with the power i can link that perfectly fine but normmally in the case of having to IDE HD's in order to set a slave with the master the ribbion has two plugs for the HDs now I ca get the Ribbion for the slave but how do i link them together or is it possible is what im asking...

okay i need to clearify i dont have 2 IDE HD's I have 1 IDE hd and 1 Sata Hd I need to hook it in my box as master and slave is that possible..

There's no such thing as "master" or "slave" with SATA. Simply connect the SATA drive and set the IDE drive as Master / single and connect it to the IDE controller.
