how do i set jumpers for a pata and a sata hard drive on sam

Specs: Windows XP
Have XP on my PATA hard drive. Would like to ghost to my SATA drive. How do i set my jumpers on my PATA drive and how do i set my BIOS. It doesn't seem to recognize the SATA drive and if it does if says ntldr.exe missing

XP doesn't recognize SATA hard drives unless the SATA drivers are installed but you may be able to work around it by entering the BIOS & changing the SATA setting to "IDE mode" (your BIOS terminology may be different).

Or install SATA motherboard drivers to Windows XP (IDE hard drive) first.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.
