How do I reset bios on a X33A laptop to its factory setting?

August 30, 2014 at 04:24:09
Specs: Windows 7
ue to my "exper" grandson using my computer and playing with the bios settings. He must have deleted something as the only way I could get it to operate is by going into Security and disabling Secure Boot Control. I believe the reason he interfered with the bios was because he tried to get it to boot upfrom a disc.
Many thanks

What's an X33A? Zero hits on Google so I assume the model number is incorrect.

You can't delete anything from a BIOS, you can only change settings. Just press the appropriate key at startup, enter the BIOS, & look for a setting called "load BIOS defaults" or something similar. Be aware that default settings are rarely optimal but they are "safe".

Set a BIOS password in future to stop anyone else but you changing it's settings.
