How do i remove this Graphics Chip?

Specs: Windows XP, 384MB
Ok i have a IBM Think pad that i cant get to work at all and it has a better Graphics Chip then my dell for some reason, how do i disconnect this chip and place it on another motherboard if possible?

'Not without a great deal of difficulty' is the simple answer, & it
almost certainly wouldn't be compatible anyway. Laptops have
the graphics chip integrated into the motherboard so it's a major
(un)soldering job and they are not generally interchangeable

Ibm think pad xxx & dell xxx? Laptop or desktop? If your are talking about "igp" u can't remove it. If it's desktop with agp or pci-e slot u can install decent graphic card, but if it's notebook no u can't change it.

All the previous posts are correct -- no can do.

That's why, when buying a laptop, you need to be careful to buy one that has all the specs and power you need, plus a bit more, because the only performance enhancement you can give it is adding more ram.
