Specs: Macintosh
I am trying to move files from my Macbook to my
external hard drive. It worked for a while, but now it
continues to say the file is in use and cannot be moved.
It does this for almost every file I try to move.
What can I do???

Try a copy. You shouldn't be using move anyway. If you are doing a backup, you should make sure that you always have at least two copies of a file.

The three most important things in computing:
1. Backups, 2. Backups and 3. Backups.
