How do i make my pc support usb boot

Specs: windows 7, 2GB
Anyone with any ideas on how to check if my pc supports usb boot.
My pc hangs at verifying dmi pool data each time i try to boot from usb.
Really in need of help.

Go into the BIOS and look at your boot order. See if you have the option to boot from a usb or usb external device. If not, you can check the manufacturers website to see if there's an update to the bios. Also look at this article.

USB booting ought to be in the owners manual. Did you read it?

In many cases usb devices can be in one of two places. One is under hard drives, so you'd have to move it up in the order from a cold boot to bios. The other is under some other usb device. Some usb's have been setup to act like a usb floppy, cdrom, zip or other usb storage.
