how do i make d drive default

Specs: Windows 7, intel,core,i7-2600k/16G
I was told to add all programs in drive peartition D: but everything is defalting to C: (the samaller partition)

That is because program writers select C as the default option. You have to select Advanced options when installing stuff and redirect it to your desired location.

Yes, Advanced or on many, Custom install options, then change the C to a D or click on the drive to install (depending on the options offered).

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.
