How do I make a network cd drive appear as a local cd

June 24, 2014 at 09:02:45
Specs: Windows 7
The laptop has No cd drive
I'm trying to install a program that is on 2 cds
I'm able to install the first part of the program form a network cd drive but when the second cd is required it calls for the second cd on the local cd drive which does not exsist
I have tried copying both cd to the same folder on c drive and it still calls for the cd drive

Try looking into a media (cd) drive emulator like daemon tools:

Kinda harsh in your response to StuartS who offered a valid solution..... AND the forum moderator no less.

Do Not post a answer unless it answers the question asked

If I only ever answered the question that was asked you would be seeing some pretty strange answers. If you don't like the answer you are free to ignore it, but mean spirited comments only reflects badly on the commentator. Post deleted.
