i tried all different USB ports and even followed instructions to:
turn mp3 player off completely, plug cable into player, turn player on,press and hold the center button on the player as you plug in the cable to the USB port, this should work. it didnt. i even tried to vary the instructions as to the on/off/hold button. this just locked the player for a short time. i appreciate the feed back and i will not give up. my daughter wants to make a playlist and can only do this if i get the songs to the computer.
