If it's crashing out in or before BIOS arrives then you have a "hardware fault" so no fiddling around with settings will help. BIOS has to work before windows can start.

If it's not something along the lines of what I mentioned in #1 then maybe the keyboard itself is faulty or something was zapped during the keyboard installation. If you happened to leave the main battery in during keyboard installation then zapping is possible.

Carefully recheck your keyboard connections and anything nearby that you might have disturbed. It should have worked immediately.

This might help if you've not seen it before but remove the main battery first then hold the Power Off/On button down for a few seconds to discharge the motherboard components:

Just to make sure I properly understand, how far do you get when trying to enter BIOS:

If you make it to the BIOS screen does it then just shut down on you?

Re #10
Nothing lost trying but if it's a hardware fault then I doubt it will let you reload Windows.

Best remove that email address. We don't use them on here and the spammers search engines will find it.

Goodness knows what happened to it then. Repair is "possible" but, as always, it boils down to cost so you would need an estimate.
