How do I connect Dell 8200 to the internet. It doesn't have

Specs: Windows xp, Normal
Dell deminsion 8200 doesn't recognize hdd. Or add, and I don't know how to get the internet on this computer. Bus speed 100 MHz, processor 0 ID. F12. Catch size 256 kb.

Before you do anything with getting on the internet, you'll have to fix the problem with the hard-drive (unless you try with a bootable version of Linux). If the current specs are what's stated below, you're going to have great problems with getting any modern version of Windows running on it, even with a working/recognized hard-drive:

You didn't explain your situation very clearly but it sounds like the HDD is bad. The Dimension 8200 is outdated so if it's the original HDD, it's pretty old.

I know that "hdd" is "hard disk drive". Is "add" a typo?
