Solved how do I combine 2 partitions on a 500 gig hardrive

Specs: Windows 7 32 bit and 7 64 bit XP, 8 gig ram ddr2 1033
one partition work in windows 7 32 bit the other in 7 64 bit need to save info and the combine the 2 to make one partition without reformatting and partitioning into one

That doesn't make sence to me.
You cannot combine the 2 partitions while at the first you've installed Win7 32 bit and at the second there is installed Win7 64 bit.

So first you have to decide, which Windows version you will use further.

The installed programs from the "merged" partition will not work after that, cause you are missing some DLL files and further more alot of registry settings for that programs.

So if you'd like to merge the 2 partitions, you only can use the data, stored on the second partition.

So the easiest way to manage that is, to copy all the data folders of the second partition to the first partition, empty the second partition and merge the empty partition to the first partition by using e.g. GParted.

Since you apparently have 8GB RAM, you should be running a 64-bit OS, otherwise over 4GB of that RAM is wasted. If Win7 64-bit is NOT installed 1st (on C:), the best thing to do would be back up all your important files, completely wipe/reparition/reformat the drive, then reinstall Win7 64-bit from scratch.
