Solved How do I change name of scanner destination?

Specs: Windows 10, 8 GB
I inherited a laptop from my wife when she purchased a new one. I love hand-me-downs. With her login credentials I was able to figure out how to assign myself as Administrator and demote her to user. What I can't seem to do, though, is to change her name to mine as the 'scan to' destination for our scanner:
HP OfficeJet Pro 8600 (all-in-one)
Can anyone share the details?
Thanks.

One way would be to perform a factory rest routine; which puts the whole thing back to as delivered and just out of the box... After-which you proceed as if it was new - depending on the level of reset you chose.

Thanks, Trvlr. I visited the second of your links, but the steps I was looking for weren't there. After mucking around some more I stumbled on this solution:
Start > Settings
Click on Settings
Search: PC name
Click on Rename this PC
Follow directions
Following name change, restart PC

Thank you for feedback. I think I didn't absorb your initial info properly... The laptop had your wife's name as its i/d and that was easily changed - as you discovered - and that then i/ds the scanner files saved location anew..

Yes, Trvlr, exactly. Once I realized that the printer/scanner's destination was the name my wife had given to the laptop it was fairly easy to make the change to the 'computer name.' All is once again well here... for now.
Thanks
