Do you mean from touch pad to a conventional mouse? If so you just obtain a USB mouse and plug it in, installing any software provided. Some folk disable the touch pad afterwards so that it doesn't start moving things if you accidentally touch it but that is optional.

I agree with Derek the usb mouse will work as soon as plugged in, you can use the FN button & F9 i think on your model to turn off the touch pad , it saves you knocking or moving it by accident whilst typing with your mouse
