Can you explain why you want to do this? There doesn't seem to be a logical explanation (other than playing a childish prank on someone else).

this is an assignment given to me in college
first i installed moufiltr driver(in winddk samples) over an existiing ps/2 mouse driver.
next i need to conceptually understand how mouse events,IRP's are handled and to invert its events as i mentioned above.

If you've been given it as an assignment then I guess the answer to your question is that it can be done. The DDK documentation should help but if you are still having difficulties it's probably best to discuss them with your tutor. They are there to help you understand your education.

This happens all of the time if you are using a wireless mouse since without the wire on one end, many mice look about the same both ways. All you have to do is turn the mouse around so the front is facing you and the movement is reversed. It is the strangest feeling the first time it happens to you though. You typically move the mouse in a small circle to locate the pointer and then begin to move it where you want... When it goes the wrong way your brain goes WOOOH HOLD ON THERE!!! Then you stop, look at the monitor, look at the keyboard, look at your HAND, and finally look at the mouse. Your mouth opens, closes, and you proceed to turn the mouse around the right way. If you are lucky, you just shake your head, if you are a control freak or just weird, you just might start to shake all over.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.
