How can I get my HP Vectra xe310 computer to see 1Gb of Ram?. There is only 256 MB in it now. Do I need to flash the BIOS? I have 4 1Gb Ram sticks and when I installed one just to see what would happen, I got a beep code (too much memory for the system). "- --- --- -". I think it has something to do with either incompatible ram or too much or unrecognizable hardware.
