How can I get a better resolution for my tv?

February 6, 2011 at 10:48:31
Specs: Windows 7, 4gb ddr3
I tried all the resolutions possible, but the tv hides a bit from all the sides. My computer is hooked up to my tv with an hdmi.

Im currently using a 32" tv 1280x720 60Hz and my gfx card is a gts 450.

Help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

From another website:

"That's actually normal on TV's. What you need to do is open nvidia control panel and then under display go to adjust desktop size and position. Select your TV and then click on Resize desktop. It will then put sliders on your TV screen, adjust the sliders until the desktop fits your screen."

let us know if this solved your problem.

Thanks for the reply, but yet another problem.
Nvidia's control panel doesn't show up on when I right click on my desktop or search it...

Do I have to download drivers?

PS: My computer is newly made.
