Specs: Windows XP
I get the message to hit ctrl + alt + Del to restart. And then it just keeps doing the same thing over and over again- giving the same message. I notice that my Primary Hard disk fail and my Secondary Master disk fail. Please Help, Need answers.

Did you make any changes to the hardware or BIOS settings recently?

If you have TWO hard drives and they are both connected to the same cable then the IDE controller may have failed, the cable may be defective or loose.

Open the case and check the cable connections. Boot into the BIOS (setup) screens and verify all the drive controllers are enabled. If you have more than one IDE channel try connecting the hard drive cable to the secondary channel

I hope you actually have made some changes to the hardware or BIOS settings recently. But if you have not and you get the Fail message during POST, it perhaps mean that your hard drive has actually acted up and died. There is no fix for it. I hope you already have made a backup copy of what's irreplacable to you.
