|Make sure that the batteries are plugged in correctly. If the plugs are not clearly labeled with red and black to match the batteries then check the manual for details. If the batteries do not charge overnight then suspect bad batteries or that the UPS was actually bad rather than the old batteries. You can get an inexpensive lead acid battery charger at an electronic store or hobby shop to test this, if the batteries take a charge then the UPS is bad. If you purchased them locally, the store may be able to test the batteries after a short charge period that they can do for you. If the batteries are good, they may allow you to use the credit from the batteries in purchasing a new UPS.|
