Specs: N/A
Hi, I just built a new rig and everytime I switch on from cold, the PC turns ON for 1sec, switch off by itself and boot up again normally. Will it cause damages to hardwares in the long run or is it totally normal and safe? Can loose hardware connections be the case?

Specifications of Rig:

Aerocool CyborgX Casing w/ 3 fans
Intel Core i5-760 Processor (2.8GHz/8m Cache)
Asustek P7P55D LGA1156 Main Board
1 x Kingston HyperX PC3-12800 DDR3-1600MHz 2GB
Western Digital Blue Caviar 1TB 7200rpm
Samsung DVD Writer
MSI GTX460 Hawk 1GB
Cooler Master 650W PSU

There may be some issue with the way the power supply is trying to detect the motherboard. Some motherboards take longer than the power supply is set for and this may be causing it. I'd kind of be concerned but it may be OK to run like that.

Try to borrow some other parts to try to swap.Be sure that your power supply is one recommended by the motherboard company.

Why did it take me over a year to phone in a problem to ATT?
