my battery says plugged in and not charging ,its been doing this for a while now ,and when I take of my charger its goes completely of ,can you please help me

I'd say your battery is dead. A repairer might be able to test it for you.

Hi Immanue, here in the UK oem batteries are inexpensive.

Start by removing and replacing the battery 3 or 4 times to clean its contacts , and see if it then charges.

How old is the battery, if a year or more, it is probably not worth testing, just replace it..

a) the make and model of the device and whether it is a laptop or ?.
b) same for the battery (may have more than one model no.)and also its volts and watts.
c) your location

Someone here will probably recommend a reasonable replacement supplier.
Remember the cheapest is not necessarily the best.
I always look for the same or higher (never lower) wattage than the old, and a year or two guarantee.
