Specs: Windows 7, 2GZ / 4Ram
Every time the computer is shut down it loses the blue-tooth paring with the keyboard. Every time it sits for 5 min without typing or using mouse pad it loses paring. In both cases I must press reset buttons on computer and keyboard, however it does not last. Computer is a Dell XPS m2010. I have upgraded to windows 7

thanks for your response. It is not the power settings, the computer does not go into sleep mode it simply loses the blue tooth connecting with the keyboard/mouse-pad. It has only been happing for 2 months now. Before that it automatically paired with the keyboard and kept the paring. I think it has something to do with the blue tooth software or drivers but have been unable to figure it out. any other suggestions?

Power. Batteries may be the problem. Some are better than others.

The device itself. I've had the cheapo wireless keyboards do similar regardless of battery power.
