It is hard to tell for sure, especially since you have not specified what machine you have or even if it is a desktop or a laptop. Possibilities include:
If it is a desktop, the power supply has been going for a while and is now not putting out proper voltage on one or more rails (highly likely).
Bad memory or tarnished contacts (less likely but remove memory, clean contacts with soft clean pencil eraser, then pop in and out 4 or 5 times to burnish contacts).
Others depending on any other warning signs you may have ignored over time.
Post more details and others will add to the list.
Edit: Sorry, I just reread above and realized I missed an important part. You did list a laptop model number.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.

You say you pressed the start button 9 or 10 times while
starting. And the problem began immediately after that?
Why did you press the button repeatedly? Was there already
a problem with starting the computer? Were you mad at it
for something it was doing, and attacking it? (Been there,
didn't cause any damage.)

I agree with Fingers that the problem is most likely in or
related to the power supply. It could be as simple as a bad
connection at the switch because of you pounding on it.
Or it could be a connection between the power supply and
the motherboard. Or in the motherboard itself.

But if you haven't already done so, you can always try
shutting the laptop down completely and restarting it.
Remove the AC power and remove the battery. Then
hold down the power (on/off) button for 20-30 seconds
to drain charge from the capacitors. Put the battery
back in and see if it will start up properly. If not, either
the battery needs to be replaced or you have a hardware
problem that needs to be repaired by a professional.

Did this laptop ever work OK with those 2 RAM sticks?

Are both the RAM stick the EXACT same model number?

Then try using ONLY one RAM stick in the first slot. If the computer boots then try ONLY the other RAM stick in the first slot.

Then do the same with the other RAM stick.

Report back with results.

Also clean the contacts on the memory sticks with a soft clean pencil eraser, remove all dust.

Try with power cord but no battery. If it works better then the battery may have a problem internally.

If possible, clean contacts on battery and laptop with eraser also.

Your laptop can't work with NO RAM installed. You may think it is running but it isn't.

Remove battery and try with power cord only. IF it works with power cord then the issue is inside the battery.
