HELP!!! NO POST/ No Video

Specs: Windows 7, 2.833 GHz / 5119 MB
Building a new comp.
Intel i3 550
asrock h55-ge
ocz 500w psu
kingston 1333 ddr3 2gb x2

When i plug it in everything seems to be running fine. but either using the intergrated graphics or with any graphics card pluged in nothing shows on screen.
by any chance is it a faulty cpu??

this is getting soo frustrating HELP would be amazing

Computers...frustrating? Nooo. Actually, I'm thinking of switching careers.

- Running fine...with no video???
- Can you get into the BIOS (hard to do w/o video I suppose)?
- Motherboard mounted right?
- CPU/heatsink mounted right and greased properly?
- Monitors work?

Just another stupid saying...

Did you benchtest your hardware BEFORE installing it in the case? If not, that twas a major mistake.

well its probably not running fine but it turns on and sound alright..
nahh cant see bios as i get nothing,
motherboard is mounted right
everything is fitted properly
monitors i am using with my current pc, and they both work fine.

Yeah i done a benchtest and had the same issue as what i have now.. spoke to Intel last night and that bloke said i may have a fault processesor :S

Took ages to to sort out with Intel but was a faulty i3 got replaced with an i5 and system was running perfectly. cheers for input
