you can find them all here :

Thanks for support ;

By the way !
This is a hardware problem
I don't get only 512mb of ram

Dump sandra and use AIDA64
The board manufacture is Axper and not Gigabyte
http://www.axper.com/product/mother...

Check the amount of video memory u have.
properties > display > adapter tab

I don't understand the last part of your second post.

You know the real meaning of peace only if you have been through the war.

Thanks kuwese ;
I know it's axper a part of Gigabyte
The last part means :
When I install the Kingston ram alone the system doesn't boot
and when I install both Samsung and Kingston I get only Samsung
detected by the system
How ever the applications above detect Kingston and report defferent
data ..............clear enough I guess !
AIDA64 has reported : (A1)not installed
Again thanks for the pain !!

I'm sure you realize what a crappy board that is. And by running DDR333 with DDR400, both will run as DDR333. You should at least DDR400 with an 800MHz FSB P4. DDR533 would be the correct RAM, but it's not supported by that board. Did you look at the specs for the Kingston? The voltage is 2.6v, the board is defaulting to 2.5v. Take out the Kingston, enter the BIOS & manually configure the RAM settings. Set the speed at 333MHz (166MHz frequency), the voltage at 2.6v, & manually input the memory timings. Save the settiungs, reboot & make sure the system is working OK, then shutdown & try adding the Kingston.

Most of our local boards are Chinese ( fragile )
That board is on one of my favorite machines ;
About your solution : it makes sense however on my Kingston it's printed
2.5v
I will try to configure them manually but with the Samsung RAM dis-installed
to make sure that the voltage doesn't damage it !

Thanks for help riider !!

I don't think everything is old crap, only the things that are old crap. How old are you anyway, 14-15? Maybe when you've worked on computers for 15-20 yrs you'll be able to spot the differences. The motherboard is based on an SiS chipset from 2003. In computer terms, that makes it old. And being that it is an SiS chipset, that pretty much makes it crap. Old + crap = old crap.
