Specs: Windows 10, 4 GB
I have a Lenovo V130 serial 4189, I got my motherboard burned due to high voltage. My laptop was not in warranty so I showed the laptop to some local person for repair. He returned the laptop saying the chipset is gone and I need to change the motherboard. Where I am now in the impression that he has actually replaced the motherboard with some faulty one. I know that Lenovo keeps the serial numbers of the parts of each configuration. If I post my laptop information here, can you please tell me the serial number of the original motherboard?

If your laptop had already been damaged, why would a repair person replace the burnt-out motherboard with another faulty one? Do you have any evidence of that?

Here is the advice from Lenovo about finding serial numbers: https://support.lenovo.com/gb/en/so... Obviously the computer has to be working to use the software method.

Simply Call Lenovo and as the Warranty has Expired you might have to pay a one time incedent fee but they can try to find out the serial number and Part Number of the motherboard, Even taking it to a Lenovo Carry In depot will help you a lot. it would be much faster and smoother way to get the details there.
