Help me choose a GPU.

Specs: Windows 7, Core 2 duo/ 2 GB
Radeon 6750 or radeon 6770.

My PC specs,

2GB ram, core 2 duo processor(2.53GHz), intel DG31PR motherboard. I only have a 450 watts power supply..

I am a gamer(not so hardcore) play a lot of GTA 4 and other 3rd person games.

will it be useful if i get radeon 6750 and 2gb ram or radeon 6770 alone?

will 6770 run with my power supply?

"I only have a 450 watts power supply"

A PSU can't be judged by wattage alone. What barnd is it & what are the amperage specs, espeically the +12v rail?

Watts isn't enough we need the amps on these rails +3.3v, +5v, +12v (open the side panel and check for PSU label).
Hd 6770 tdp 108w which is 9amps from +12v & +3.3v(it can use more power, to be safe better have 12 amps from +12v rail). Get hd 6770 gddr5 1gb.

I think either is far more than your system needs or supports. Might consider a step down to the 4000 series.

Edit:

i just found out that my power supply is 450 watts.. it says output for +12=20Amp and +5v=30Amp and +3.3=28Amp.

and if a GPU's minimum requirement is 450watts as stated in its site can i upgrade to that GPU?

If that is all they say. Usually newer gpu's might need a separate power plug from psu.
