✔ Best Answer
Usually F8 toggles it, see this page of manual:

Connect monitor before booting up.

Is the laptop screen totally unusable?

Makes me wonder if something else bust at the same time.

Is there a key that looks like the one given in answer 2 here:
http://superuser.com/questions/2928...
If so is it F8?

Yes, the laptop screen is totally unusable and yes that key Is there, it is f8. It was working almost one and a half months now after the screen broke. Recently smone switched it off directly at the power button twice and after that it totally dissapeared hdmi and vga has been on no signal.

I can't think of anything easy to suggest for this. Looks like the hardware has taken a few jolts one way or another and might not be worth fixing. Keep watching for other ideas though - you never know.

Thank you for the reply. I finally found a new screen and i found out that the bios was bricked. I fixed the laptop and now it is all good.
