How do you have it connected? HDMI isn't going to do it.

I was using a HDMI cable, is there a better solution, that recording all the contents onto disks and then transferring it over to my computer?

Difficult to answer when you don't post any model numbers or specs. USB connection?

I just had a quick look at the manual. It seems to me the only way to get the data transferred would be to remove the HDD from the recorder & connect it to the computer.

What about SD card?

Even if you do transfer it to your pc, it might not play. I think Panasonic has a specific way of creating the videos.

However, you might be able to capture the output, if you have a capture device in your pc. Using red white yellow cables.

A thank you would be nice, if I have helped.
