but after restarting it says "no Operating system found"

after several tries i tried to reinstall the windows by re-alloting HDD space, but when i try to delete the allocated space i.e. C drive, it says "The drive cannot be deleted"

Are you really running XP on a system with only 128mb of RAM? If so then right there is probably the root cause of your problem. Your harddrive has crashed as a result of the constant use of pagefile.

Before looking at partitioning tools you should look at :
1. Get more ram. XP runs OK on 512mb but better on more.
2. Get a harddrive diagnostic program. They usually run on a bootable floppy or CD.

"i wanted to re-allocate drive space"
Doing this is not risk free, you can mess-up you OS. Considering your OS is already messed up, fix that first.
"after several tries i tried to reinstall the windows by re-alloting HDD space"
this likely made the problem worse
