I just completed installing a new hard drive following a crash. In the BIOS I set up a password for the system. Upon Reboot, when prompted to enter the password, the computer does not recognize the keyboard for any keystrokes except "Enter". It I have tried a different keyboard with the same results. I cannot get past the password to go to the F2 or F12 setups. Is there any way to bypass this so I can use my computer or did I just trash a new hard drive?

"It is an USB keyboard"

There you go. Try switching to a PS/2.
