Specs: Windows XP
I need some help! My ex gave his SATA Drive. He tried to place his SATA Drive in my IDE computer, that sooo didn't work. I've removed that and now the BOIS will not reconize my IDE drive. What can I do?

Did you go into the bios and restore defaults?

WinXp Amd 64 3000 Msi Neo2 Platinuim 1 gig ddr 400. When we cast a pebble into a pond we should look past the first ripple.

Sorry about the delay new problem with another computer. It's been a couple of weeks and my memory is going. I've poked around, but can you help but telling roughly what I should do. I get into the the BIOS then what? Any help would be great.

When you get into the bios/setup there should be an option to load optimized defaults. Click that then click save and exit.
