Hard drive jumper settings

Specs: Windows 3.1, 16/16
I have an IBM model DHEA-36480 hard drive of 6440 MB capacity now running Windows 95. I want to set it up for being used as a slave drive, D: drive, and how do I change the jumpers then?

The jumpers are now over pins 1 and four.

A very quick Google brought up the data sheet for your harddrive HERE

I came up against the Hitachi site also. It tells on how to remove the cover to some case etc. but zero on how to set jumpers.

Unless you know of some better URL than I found.

Read the link posted by Johnr again. About half way down the second column on page one there is a section entitled Setting the Jumpers.
