Emachines El1210-11 desktop pc

I have a Grey Volume Control bar stuck in the middle of my screen that i haven't been able to get rid of for days now. I've done some research and it seem that this problem is related to EMachines monitors possibly.

Have you tried another monitor? That's the easiest way to prove the point. Also try turning the computer off, removing the power cord then holding the Power Off/On button down for at least 20 seconds. This discharges the motherboard components which at odd times unsticks things.

Alwayspop back and let us know the outcome - thanks

Do you have an eMachines monitor? I know this problem was asked about before but don't remember if we came up with a fix. Try searching the forums.

Yes unfortunately I've been unsuccessful in resolving this issue.
