If you have a display on the screen, then the graphics driver needs to be installed, available from Sony

Thanks, but I was told that my blue screen errors were caused by a faulty graphics card. I was told that an external card was an option. I was told my drivers were nvideo? from intel. I've tried recovery discs from sony and tried to upgrade my windows vista to windows 7 but, system keeps crashing.

If you're getting a display on the screen, the graphics are working. Boot into safe mode & uninstall the current graphics drivers. I don't know which drivers to tell you to reinstall because I cannot find any info about that model number. Are you sure you copied it correctly?

Thanks, It is a Sony (all in one) purchased as Sam's Club about two and a half years ago, It is a model PCG-2J3L. Have been going crazy trying to figure out what's wrong with it. After it started crashing every 2 minutes with (broser not working) error message. I went online on a Sony Vaio site (I thought) and they would do a (free) scan to see what my problem was. I was told I had a bad virus and they guaranteed that they could fix it. After $150 , a external harddrive.4 sets of recovery disks, a windows 7 upgrade (that won't load). I am told that the graphic card is the problem and I should go out and purchase an external one that is compatible with my computer. I am very frustrated and I know that I should have gone to Sony in the first place. Now everything I try to do ends up with a blue screen error crash. I don't know what it costs to send my computer back to Sony but I think that it's my only option.
thanks for the help
