Graphics card installation

Specs: Windows XP
ive got a Radeon x700 AGP PRO graphics card...but no disk with it. I put the card in my machine and have a black screen. WHAT DO I DOWNLOAD??

Go to bios set initial display to agp, return shared memory to ram, disable igp (if there's option). Un-install igp drivers then install v-card (u don't need driver first) then go to ATi website and download v-card driver.

If you have a black screen, it has nothing to do with lack of drivers. The drivers are installed after you boot into windows with the new card. Are you seeing the POST screen when you 1st bootup or nothing at all? Are you sure the card works?

OK...i got the screen up, i didnt go to bios yet. i am downloading catalyst driver from download.cnet.com....right track? or do i forget it and go to bios?
