graphics card for a compaq sr1619uk

Specs: Windows 7, 2 gig of ram
I want to upgrade my graphics card, at the moment I have An On board radeon express 200, but I like athe odd gaming session, and I play alot of video and tv on my pc. I have a pci-e 16 slot, price isn't really and issue, can any one help with compatibility.

I can't seem to find your exact system specs other than it has an Athlon 64 single core cpu. The power supply will be a limiting factor. Post back with your specs if you can.

Open the case and look at the label on the power supply. What are the 12V amps? It will say 12V+ and -.and should list the wattage.

That isn't going to cut it. You're going to have to upgrade the psu too. Now it's time to decide how much money you want to spend on an old machine. A good psu will cost you $50.00 and the card another $60 to $100. If you do decide to upgrade the psu, look for one that has a single 12 volt rail like the Corsair line. You should go at least 400-450 watts.
