Specs: Windows XP
I have PCG-V505EXP AND IM LOOKING TO BUY A NEW COMPATIBLE VIDEO CARD. BUT IDK WHAT KIND CAN I BUY. I HAVE ATI RADEON 9200 RIGHT NOW AND IT SUCKS.

Can anyone plz help me on a alternative graphic card that will work with this computer? I only have less than $100 as budget

Your graphics are built into the motherboard & are NOT upgradeable. If you want better graphics, buy a better laptop.

Well, sry for caps. I'm not yelling or anything, just it was stuck like that since I typed in the model.

Um, are you guys sure its really not upgradable? I contacted sony and they said I should contact computer dealer for graphic card. I also read another topic about someone similar and someone said he can buy a new one that would fit in his laptop.
I asked my own question because the model # isnt the same as mine.

Also, I've found omegadrivers.net is very good. Since ATI 9200 isnt supported anymore, I've found someone who has been working on the old models, new models as well, and it is a recommended alternative for gaming by ATI

There are a very few laptops that have a modular type GPU. Yours isn't one of them. The graphics are part of the motherboard.

If you wanted a gaming computer you should have bought a desktop, which usually has some upgrade options.

ok then I guess I'll just have to stick w/ the better omega driver version of my ATI 9200
