✔ Best Answer
Unplug from domestic power then remove the battery. Hold the power off/on button in for about 20 second then see if this helps when you have put it all back together.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks

Well, how about some more information there buddy. Your system specs can be useful. You should also try to give a better description of the problem.

What about the message? Those your PC shut down shortly after? If so have you considered the possibilty that your battery may be defective? (Sometimes due to overcharging) Or have you taken action, replaced the battery, with no positive result?

Help us help you. Give more information about your issue.

'. . .replace battery or plug in ac power' is a simple directive. What happens when you do that? We're assuming you do have a laptop. If you're getting that message from a desktop PC you need to check how its power saving options are set.

That simple little trick (#1) "sometimes" helps - glad to hear it did so this time.
