Get back disappeared Second HDD

Specs: Windows 7, Athlon 3.10 GHz / 4 Gigs
My second hard drive (E) has disappeared... How do I get it working again...? It is not seen in My Computer... What happened..?

See device manager for storage management. It should show a partition, see if you can assign a drive letter to it. Take note that some partitions there may be for special use. Look for one the same size as the old E:

1/3 of highway deaths are caused by drunks. The rest are by people who can't drive any better than a drunk.

Hi Jefro.. Many thanks for your feedback regarding my problem.. I did exactly as instructed but when I was in Device Manager I couldn't see anything to do with Storage Management or a Partition.. No idea why this is so but unfortunately because of this I couldn't apply your fix.. Any idea why these did not come up..? Thanks..

I think he meant Disk management. Go to Control Panel Administrative tools.

i have made a Partition on c drive but the new drive E is disappeared and it not even showing in Storage Management also. but the total space in my C drive is showing less............... kindly help
