How to install gigabyte nVidia geforce gtx 660 graphic card in Windows 8.1 correctly. I have problems to connect to power supply i have pcie connector 6+2, and there is 2pins left, how can i connect that will work, thanks.
A 6+2 pin connector is a 6 pin connector with an add on 2 pin connector allowing you to use it on GPU's that require the 8 pin connector. The 2 pin part snaps or slips off from the 6 pin connector allowing you to use it where the 6 pin is all you need. If I remember correctly, you need only the 6 pin connector for the GTX660. If you do not 'see' how this is done, look at the power supply mfg's web site for the instructions for details and blow up images. If you still are having trouble, please let us know the exact make and model number of the power supply.
You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.
Thank you for help, now i have connected the graphic card correctly, but i also have problems with Uefi. My hard disk is 3TB, a new updates can not be applied, system thread exception error appears, can you help me, thanks !!
