G'day I have a gigabyte SG-72 motherboard and the specification book says it will only support a graphics card up to 1.5 volts can anyone tell me what the voltage for a nvidia geforce fx 5500 card is

If you already have it, just go ahead & use it. It's definitely NOT a 3.3v card. If you haven't bought it yet, don't. It's going on 8 yrs old - choose a more modern card.

I can not find anything on your motherboard. I did find an Abit SG-72. If they are the same that card should work.

G'day thanks for the info I have already bought the card and even though it's 8 years old it will still be better than my 64mb card I don't play games on my computer I just watch videos so hopefully it will be ok
