We assume that's where you bought the computer otherwise !
"1 KNTKT 2GB NVIDIA® GeForce® GT 540M graphics with Optimus "
Are you the original owner of the laptop ?
Has the original video card been changed ?
If you arewn't the original owner, and/or if you're not sure if the orginal video card has been chaned, click on the Current System Configuration tab on the above page.
If you DO actually have the nVidia - GeForce GT 540M 2gb video card
- it should be listed in Device Manager under Display Adapters if it's drivers / software were installed properly
(click on Computer - select System Properties in the top bars - Device Manager is on the left to click on , on the resulting page)
There should be NO yellow ! (exclamation mark) or red X beside it's entry !
- if you have tried re-installing the drivers / software for the GeForce GT 540M 2gb video card, it's VERY common for people to NOT do that properly !
If there's nothing wrong in Device Manager regarding the GeForce GT 540M 2gb video card ......
RIGHT click on a blank part of your main desktop screen, choose Personalize, then Dusplay Settings.
What does it say there ?
What monitor on what video adapter ?
Do you have other third party (not included with Windows) video games installed ?
If yes, does the video work fine in those games ?
