flash Transcend can not format.what can i do?

Specs: Windows 7
i bought a flash memory, when i connect it in my PC it ask me to format when i do it show me "windows was unable to complete the format." in any PC.
what should i do?
please help?

It should have been sold formatted either in fat or exfat. Take it back.

Why did it take me over a year to phone in a problem to ATT?

There's probably nothing wrong with the flash drive.

i have try HP USB Disk Storage Format Tool and it give me there is no media.
what is that mean?
and what should i do?

See the info at the link I pointed to in response 4.
If the flash drive is plugged into a USB port it actually works with,
and if shows up as a USB mass storage device in Device Manager, then your problem is probably that the data on the drive that shows where files are on the drive is damaged. In that case if you use one of the programs mentioned to repair the data damage of the data that shows where files are on the drive , whatever personal data that was on the drive should then show up fine and the flash drive will be recognized normally.
