I bought a used Seagate (model #st650211cf) 5 gb Type II drive. It didn't arrive with a driver CD. I have placed in a computer runnng Windows XP and Windows 95. Both computers acknowledge the drive. They state that a PCMCIA IDE/ATAPI Controller has been inserted. It is also listed in Device Manager as working properly. It does not show up in My Computer, nor in the Administrative section under Disk Management. I have looked on the Seagate website for a driver. It seems like it is an old drive, but it does not have drivers available.

T&W:
Thanks for the info. What an ordeal just to get the drive to work. I've gotten a lot of stuff from ebay, sometimes you get stuck. This drive seems really complicated, but it may be worth five more dollars to get it to work. I've checked them and they have the reader. Again, thanks for the assist.
