Specs: Windows XP
Hi,
When I connect flash drives to my computer, it detects it and even says that it is for example a Sandisk cruzer or Kingston etc. but it doesn't show up on 'My Computer' so I cannot access the files. I tried uninstalling and installing the driver, but nothing seems to work. Plz help.

Look in Disk Management for the flash drive. You may need to partition and format it before it will show in My Computer.

Its not showing up on Disc Management. I've tried the stick on other computers and it works on each one. My computer is not reading any flash drives for that matter. It detects it and installs the drivers but does not show up on My Computer or Disc Management.

I read on some other blog to purchase a "powered" USB hub. Did it. Now my flash drives work!
