|Please note that in order to Flash a BIOS you need an operating BIOS to do it. IF it is possible at all to restore your laptop with a corrupted BIOS, it will be the manufacture themselves and probably not even the dealer.|
If you check the internet there are many many instances where a failed BIOS update caused a computer to 'Brick' which simply means that it becomes as useful as a single brick (not much good by itself except as a paperweight). The only reason to update a BIOS is where there is a significant problem where there is significant evidence that the newer BIOS will solve this issue, usually in the BIOS' description. Since there is little chance that you will be changing out hardware in a laptop, there is very little chance that this step was actually needed. Then you ONLY get the BIOS update directly from the system manufactures web site and only for that exact machine model specifically and version.
IF you ever think in the future that you need to update your BIOS, please check back here first and lay out all of the problem and the reason why you think you need it. Then you take specific precautions before you start because any interruption will cause you a major problem (battery or power issues being common).
So no, if you cannot get into your BIOS set up, we cannot help you Flash your BIOS to fix it because Flashing the BIOS uses a small program within the BIOS to make the update. Sorry.
You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.
