Please can someone help me? I am trying to open up a file but everytime I click on the file a dialog appears saying file is not accessible.

This happened after I accidently moved the file into a programe file, so it looks like it may have corrupted it in some way, does anyone know how I can open the content of this file?

Many Thanks

Sounds like you had a FOLDER, not file with some Word documents in the folder. Is that correct?

If the file is a word document then check to see if the file extension is .doc.

Right click on the folder/file and choose properties. Look to see what the attributes are for the file. Post the information.

Yes sorry its a folder, would help if I gave you the correct information.
I can't see a file extention, if I right-click on the folder choose properties I get the properties diaboxm with the following information.

Type: File folder
Location: c:\ documents and settings ...
Size: 0 Bytes
Size on disk: 0 Bytes
Contains: 0 files 0 folders
Attributes: Read Only

Although it says it doesnt contain and files and bytes I know it does.

Thank you
